Cassie Hawkins is a photographer and ceramic artist who frequently enjoys combining the two mediums.  After obtaining two Bachelor of Fine Art degrees in photography and ceramics from the University of Georgia, she went on to receive her MFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute.  She has exhibited at national venues from the east coast to the west coast.  She was awarded scholarships and academic achievement awards from the San Francisco Art Institute, the University of Georgia, and Georgia State University.  Her work has been published in several magazines, catalogs, and websites.  She served as teaching assistant for professors at the University of Georgia and the San Francisco Art Institute.  She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
